About Us
Hello everyone! My name is Kyle. I was born and raised in Arizona, where the 120° desert summer prepared me to be a wildland fireman. I started my fire journey in 2010 as just a grunt on a wildland fire engine for the Kaibab NF. At the same time, I was studying to be a Mechanical Engineer at NAU. Soon after my first season, I was hooked. I fell in love with the adrenalin rush of chasing fire and seeing the great outdoors that many don’t get to see. I changed my major to a natural resource degree and stayed with the engines for a few years. I had the privilege to do some time with Mormon Lake Hot Shots, be an engine captain and now I’m in a leadership role for the BLM Winnemucca District.
From an engineer student, to engine captain, and everything in between, I know firsthand the hard work, smoke intake, heat and stress a body takes being a wildland fireman. I also know, from those hard days of work to the early morning sunrise, there’s nothing like a good cup of coffee to start your grind. A cup of coffee that you know will be much better than the camp coffee you’re going to be served at breakfast. It’s going to be that cup of coffee that takes you back to the early morning of sitting and watching the sun rise, the mornings of getting up and chasing the elk around, the mornings that you’re in control and ready to push on. Add in twin girls and a boy later, coffee is constantly flowing at our house.
Here at Fireline Brew Coffee Co., we have partnered with Temecula Coffee Roasters to provide the cup of coffee that will not let you down. We hope you enjoy the smooth taste and the strong kick you’ll get, readying you to go out and do your days’ worth of work.
I am proud to give back to my fellow wildland fireman. For every purchase, one percent will be donated to the Wildland Firefighter Foundation. For decades, wildland firemen and women have been battling the blazes across the grasslands, through the deserts, and the high north forests. America is our playground, and we are proud to do our part in protecting it and battling for your safety.
Many men and women firefighters have given their life battling these fires. Being from Arizona, I honor the Granite Mountain 19 and everyone who has given their life battling fire.
So, join me in a good cup of coffee and supporting our wildland firefighters; keeping America, the home of the brave and the hard worker, safe.
Kyle
